Canine and information received aid in location of evidence in recent drug arrest

A Superior resident was arrested on a drug related charge Feb. 4 following the execution of a search warrant at his home by the Superior Police Department.
The search warrant was served at approximately 10:30 a.m. on that morning at 504 Heiner, according to Superior Police Detective Marshall Harshman. The Superior Police Canine Unit, consisting of the dog Ajax and his handler, Superior Police Officer Ken Burnside, was deployed and found evidence that led to the arrest.
Taken into custody was Michael Anthony Trevino, 26 of Superior. He was subsequently booked into the Pinal County

An unidentified man was reportedly wounded and fled into the desert following a gunshot exchange Feb. 4 in Superior.
