Town to move forward with town manager still the town manager, mayor says
Superior Town Council reviewed town personnel rules relating to reduction in work force, grievances and appeals at a Jan. 28 special meeting.

Robotics program a life changing experience for SHS students who participate in new activity

Superior High School has started an innovative new club called FIRST Robotics.
Dean Kamen, a famous inventor and physicist, founded FIRST Robotics in 1989 to motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology and math, while building self confidence, knowledge and life skills. FIRST stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. The Robotics Club is an undergraduate student-run organization that facilitates the building of robots and related projects.

Superior highway re-opens Friday afternoon following police action in high speed chase incident
U.S. 60 is again open in both directions east and westbound from Mile Post 224.50 at Superior to Mile Post 239 just 3.7 miles west of Miami, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
