Baby Boomers Rewired
  May 21, 2012

Have you longed for the days of your youth? Ben Wasson has found the secret to time travel. There are no tickets to buy, no packing to do-just take a moment and listen... _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Ben Wasson, a native born Missourian, was serving as a radarman on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Intrepid, dancing at the local USO club in New York City to Buddy Holly's "That Will Be The Day" and Peggy Sue. Not in his wildest dreams did he imagine a short time later he would be in Clovis, NM at the legendary Norvajak Recording Studio singing into the same microphone and produced by the same producer as the late, great Buddy Holly.

But like the dusty whirlwinds that cross the western deserts, his life led from the tutelage of one innovative talent to another, recording with such great producers as Norman Petty, Tommy Allsup, Brien Fisher, Norris Wilson.

Ben also had the pleasure of recording with some of Nashville’s greatest musical talents-Pete Drake, Loyd Greene, Weldon Myrick, Hargus Robbins, Buddy Harman, and the Jordanaires-many who are now members in the Hall of Fame. Ben achieved his own popular acclaim with his hits “Footsteps Through My Mind” & "Goodbye Sunshine”.

Ben's latest release is the much heralded Sweet Rockabilly Blues featuring hit singles, "Call Me The Breeze" and "Mystery Train".

Ben has two additional CD collections that will transport you to the time when life was simple, love was sweet, and music was the inspiration for a future that was bright beyond imagination. Baby Boomers Rewired is a refreshing look back with new tracks such as "Ode to Baby Boomers" and classics like "What A Difference A Day Made".

Classic Sweet Country-Legacy Edition represents the communal vigor and vitality of some of the finest country & western musicians of the 20th century--Pete Drake, Lloyd Greene, Wildon Myrick and The Jordanairs.
