The president of the Lakes Area Cruisers, a local organization of hot rod and classic car enthusiasts, Alvin Prewitt, said this week that he expects the turn out at this weekend's 9th Annual Rod Run & Classic Car Show to break all previous records. According to Prewitt, the club usually receives around 50 requests for pre-registration. However, he said that this year the group had already received over 80 such requests.
