City undertakes Civic Park, with help from groups, individuals

Taking pride and ownership of the community, is how Fulton City manager,
Kenney Etherton, described in a nutshell, the downtown park project, upon
which the City of Fulton has embarked.
The park is expected to stand on property donated by Reelfoot Bank, located
between Bankers Place, and Mears Street, downtown Fulton.
The 48 feet wide, by 98 feet long designated area, will consist of park
benches and picnic tables, and will require minimal upkeep.

Spring start date set for Campbell Plaza project

The first of two downtown park projects, spearheaded by Fulton native Jeff
Campbell, is hoped to revitalize the central business district, according to
Campbell, and also create a memorial for his late parents.
Campbell Plaza, set for construction to begin this spring, will be located in
the lot adjacent to Evans Drug, and will feature a 20-foot clock tower, a
16x32-foot outdoor pavilion, large patios, and landscaping. The pavilion and
clock tower will have electricity hook-ups and will be lighted.

Blanketed
