LAKE DECATUR FULLY RECOVERED FROM DROUGHT
The level of Lake Decatur has steadily increased to its normal winter lake level due to significant rainfall in Lake Decatur during the month of January. It is anticipated that the level of Lake Decatur will be one foot higher than the normal winter lake level of 612.5 feet above mean sea level on or about January 29 as the Sangamon River - which is the main tributary of the lake – continues to supply a large quantity of water.
