Additional charges of escape from a detention center and aggravated burglary have been added to other pending charges. A manhunt was on in Benton County after an inmate escaped from the Benton County Jail. At approximately 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, Lewis Franklin Hill, Jr. escaped by climbing over the razor-wire fence. Hill was outside in the recreation yard when an apparent commotion broke out inside the jail, giving him the distraction he needed to walk around the corner and climb the fence.
