Upcoming Bingo Events
VFW Post 2654 sponsors bingo activities on Friday nights; Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 2654 sponsors bingo activities on Sunday nights. Proceeds support the programs and activities of the VFW and Ladies Auxiliary. Doors open at 4 PM each night with games starting at 7 PM. Speedball games, pull tabs, and Derby race games are played prior to the bingo games. The more players-the more the payouts. Veteran Flag Project
The Veterans Flag Project continues to grow with flags being dedicated to veterans-both in memory of and in honor of. Brochures providing information and a form to request a flag are available at the Post on the Information Table in the hallway area. The next flying of the flags will be Memorial Day 2012. Everyone is encouraged to take time to volunteer to display the flags and help take them down following Memorial Day. 2012 Young American Creative Patriotic Art Program

Entries for the Young American Creative Patriotic Art program must be received by 5 PM on March 31, 2012. The program is open to high school students (and homeschooled students in high school grades). Students are encouraged to put patriotism in artwork for scholarship opportunities offered locally up to the national level. Winning local entries can be forwarded to Department for further consideration and will be displayed at the Department convention.
